Why is the robot not trying to beat it's opponent?
How does the robot track the ball?

  3. the robot is not trying to beat its opponent because it wants to keep the rally going. the robot keeps track of the ball with two sensors. the company is not selling the robot because the company only wants to show of it software.

  5. The robots main purpose is to keep a rally going. the robot tracks the ball with a 360 degree sensor camera. it is not selling yet because right now because it still has some bugs that need to be fixed.

One of the sensors on the robot monitors the player"s moves, while another measures the 3D location of the robot, which allows the robot to track the ball. The company wants to demonstrate its technology, instead of selling it to the public.

  8. This robots goal is to continue a rally and not try to win. The robot has 2 sensors under the chin that allow it to create a path of travel so that it can calculate a path back to the opponent. The company isn't selling this robot because it was designed to display this companies skills in robotics. Colin
