Because their body can bend and twist, the robots are capable of very compliant motion and rapid movements and turning. And finally, the robots are self-contained and autonomous. They made a robot fish for military purposes and for exploration. In the rear of the fish, it is soft and compliant. The fish can also perform an escape maneuver. The robot fish moves by releasing gases.
